Thats right! I had my first argument with a Fanperson. A fan girl in particular and not just any fan girl. A Amy Rose fangirl. This should be fun 8D.

Since fan arguments are like the norm here I kind of saw fan arguments as something ever deviant here does atleast once. So its something I've always wanted to do. Just to experience it. But since I:
1. Respect other peoples opinions.
2. Try to aviod drama.
3. Am a pacifist.
I found it wrong to just go around trying to look for one. Plus whenver I thought one was going to happend, me and the other person agree to dissagree, and you know what? God bless their souls! for they are nice people and its more people like that the world needs.

Well like the title of this journal is this is indeed a argument. With a deviant noob none the less. Yup, This 13 or 14 year old girl with a IQ of 128 ( Or so she says.) happened to see a 2 year old picture of mine( [link] that one right there)and felt like she shoudl take it upon herself to Defend the honer of Sega's Comedic relief character Amy Rose.

And these are the results... ( For the record even though I don't like Amy Rose, ITS OK! And if if your reading this and you DO like her, THATS OK TO! Theres nothing wrong about not liking the same character and we are all entitled to agree and disagree about what ever we want.) Which by the havne't been edited in any way, shape, or form.

Oh, yeah, she has a fanbase cuz she's cute, smart, powerful, and a good rolemoldel for younger girls!!!!!!!!

Gordon: While she may have some commensence (she did get E-102 to change sides), she's not a good role model for girls.

A smart girl would of moved on and done something with her life rather than just stalking the same guy 24/7after rejection. I mean he shows no intrest in her. He even attacks her while she's being held hostage and she still follows them.

If any girls followed her example, they'd all have self esteem issues or be in so much denile about how certain people feel for them. They'd probably be in jail or prison for violating restraining orders.

Oh, and don't bother with the "she's not a good role model." cuz she is and you know I'm right. She's a role model in the fact that she never gives up, she stands up for her friends, and she is an all-around great person.

And I kind of followed her example when I was younger. And look where it got me. I'm in the gifted program, have an IQ of 128, and my friends say I'm kind. Sure, I have a temper, but I stand up for my friends, and I'm pretty sure I got it from watching Amy stand up for hers.

Gordon: Well I'm sure it's ok to screw a retraining order, It's not ok to violate a restraining order. It's a serious offence that can land someone in jail or prison. I'm sure if you do the same ( though with a IQ of 128 I'm sure you won't.), It would make it harder to get a job when you reach adulthood since its a very serious felony in some states.

Also Sonic doesn't seem to have any sort of romantic interest in Amy. Yeah he saves her whenever she's in touble but that's because he's a hero. Thats what they do. Heros save people they don't like all the time cause its the right thing to do. [link] That link has a clip from Sonic Riders in which Amy is being held hostage by Robotnik. Notice how he attacks Robotnik without even thinking of what could happen to Amy. I don't know about you but if someone I liked did that to me I'd be crushed. Its just sad how no matter what she goes through to prove her feelings to him he continues to show no intrest in having any sort of relationship with her. Also he never feels bad about what he did to her. He just runs from her cause he doesn't want to get his ass kicked. It's that little trait that keeps Amy from being a proper role role model for girls. God forbid a girl follows this example and ends up being used by a jerk. There's too many girls like that in today's world anyway.

I'm 21 and I've been a fan of sonic since day one and I continue to pray for the day he gets a good game. Never in any of the Sonic games does Sonic hint, imply or state that he has feelings for Amy.

Plus your what? 13 or 14? Your not mature enough to know what a good relationship is. Which is probably why you think Sonic likes Amy.

Also, I drew this two years ago. This drawing is old. Why someone would want comment on a two year old drawing to defend a fictional character that isn't real is beyond me.

Further more. While you may have a IQ of 128 you don't have the maturity level of the average person with 128 IQ. I mean you did type your last comment with alot of haste. There's a few typos here and there. I also didn't belittle you in my comment. I just said that she's not a good role model for girls and that Amy does infact have some commen sence.

While Tenacity, a strong sence of friendship and being well mannerd are good traits, not handling rejection well, absent mindedness and denile aren't good ones. I mean how does someone mistake Shadow for Sonic.

While Amy is good hearted she has too many flaws that keep her from being a good role model for young girls. A proper role model would have goals outside of love and apply themselves towards a goal that would lead them to a bright future. Then some where along the line they would find someone they love who loves them back.

If you still convinced Thats Sonic likes Amy then you should play Sonic Advance 3 and pick Sonic and Amy as a team and see what happens.

You should also pick your arguments more carefully and back them up with solid facts.

You can't really judge someone by flaws they have. I mean, thats the same as judging someone by skin color. Would you say I'm stupid because I'm half black??

You have your good points. I didn't know that pic was 2 years old. I'm new here and I was just randomly commenting pictures.

Amy is just madly in love and she is trying to get Sonic to admit he loves her. Amy has the mentality of an 8 year old(read the comics) and her crush on Sonic is like a school crush.

I also don't have a Gameboy or a Nintendo DS. And I don't plan on getting Sonic Advance 3. I just don't like those types of games.

And I still don't know why they make Amy so dumb. I love her, it's just she isn't smart at all.

I spend a lot of time searching about sonic characters on the internet. I probably know just about everything about them.

I just wish some people would voice what they think, but not make pictures like that. I get too pissed off when people make something I find rude.

Gordon:I never said you were stupid. Judging someone from there flaws is very different from judging someone from their skin color. Depends on how one uses the word flaw. In my last comment I was speaking of the negative personality traits of Amy. Not liking someone for who they are is completely different than not liking someone for how they look.

Its better to not like someone for who they actually are instead of just looks. First of all its racist and plus its impossible to like everyone you meet. Eveyone has a personality trait that someone else may see as flawed.

Another thing is this is a place of free expression. I'm free to express my feelings towards a concept, character, or person the same way you are. Its best to respect other peoples feelings. I mean you don't see me leaving bad comments on any deviations featuring Amy Rose or any of her fans. While I may not like the character, I respect the people who do the same way I respect the people who don't like any characters I like.

Arguments about how one sees a character are pretty dumb and very commen here. Like I said, Its best just to respect a person's opinion about a certain character than to just argue about it.

Since your new its best to know all of this now before you piss off some immature stupid person with tons of friends and next thing you know you got tons of flamers on you page.

Just remember to look at the date and artist comment before you comment. Its always best to know as much as you can about a picture before you respond to it.

Pictures like mine that were very rushed, that have very little effort( not to mention very old) aren't really worth it.

Just remember to think hard about leaving negative comments because theres no real way of knowing how a stranger might react and next thing you know you may end up regretting it.

And why do you feel like you have to defend this characters honer? Amy isn't real. She's not going to think better of you. You think the creator cares? Do you think SEGA feels some sort of gratification by what your doing? Well they don't. Sega is a businsess that is milking their star character for all its worth by sacrificing good games for fast money through a generation of gamers who have fun playing anything.
